About Us
Hello, we are Scott & Kerry Friestad. We have resided in Shreveport since 2000. We were transplanted here through the Air Force, stationed at Barksdale AFB. We have three sons and two cats.
Since 2000, our church home has been Shreveport Community Church. We've been buying and selling real estate since 2003. We have 4 rental properties of our own and manage rental properties for our clients.
About Kerry: Kerry is a full time real estate agent. She works mostly with home buyers. She loves showing homes and experiencing the joy her clients receive when they find their dream home. She naturally builds friendships with most of her clients. It's no shock that most of her business comes from client referrals. Her business mission statement includes putting her clients' needs first and serving them with everything she has. Why does she do this? As she says, "I want to sleep at night and know that I have happy clients."
A personal note from Kerry: I believe that every client deserves to be treated with respect. When it comes to serving my clients, it's about their convenience, their needs, their time frame -- not mine. I work for my clients and I give them that respect that an employee gives to their employer. I go a bit further than that and protect their interests in every way possible. If they ask my professional opinion, I give it to them straight, good or bad. My client's put their trust in my services and I will not lead them astray. I have a good reputation and I intend to keep it. My husband / broker is a great model for me. I'm very proud of his integrity in all his business.
About Scott: Scott is the broker of Friestad Realty. He began his real estate career buying rental properties and flipping properties. He enjoyed it so much he began sharing his successes with his friends and that led to him making the decision to become a licensed professional real estate agent. The first year in real estate he listed approximately 40 homes and sold over 50 homes his first year, earning the "Rookie of the Year" award at his company.
With his strong business ethics and desire to continue his grandfather's legacy, he opened Friestad Realty in 2008. In addition to residential real estate, Scott works with REO firms and handles their foreclosures.
On a personal note, Scott loves to play tennis and competes often in tournaments locally and in Texas. He loves teaching his boys the sport and spending time with them.
